Nandhi Devar Siddhar, also known as Nandi Devar or Nandi Siddhar, is one of the revered 18 Siddhars in Tamil Siddha tradition. He is often associated with the divine bull Nandi, the vahana (vehicle) of Lord Shiva.
According to legend, Nandhi Devar was born with divine grace and was destined to serve Lord Shiva.
His life is shrouded in mystery, with many stories emphasizing his unwavering devotion to Lord Shiva and his mastery in various spiritual practices.

Yoga and Meditation:

Nandhi Devar mastered various yogic practices, emphasizing the importance of mental discipline and physical endurance. He taught that through yoga, one could achieve a higher state of consciousness and union with the divine.

He was skilled in the art of alchemy (Rasavatham) and Siddha medicine, which involves the transformation of base metals into gold and the preparation of medicinal remedies. His contributions to Siddha medicine are considered invaluable, with many of his formulations still in use.
