Foundation Details:
This foundation was established with a corpus fund of Rs. 1000/- to promote agriculture, environmental awareness, traditional knowledge, and economic empowerment among disadvantaged communities.
Objectives:
- Construction of a temple for the 18 Siddhargal
- Promoting agriculture and employment opportunities.
- Adoption of innovative strategies for sustainable agriculture and the environment.
- Dissemination of organic farming methods for rural farmers and landless people.
- Establishment of Meditation and Yoga Schools.
- Validation and conservation of traditional knowledge.
- Creating and managing organic schools, agro farms, herbal gardens, bioresources research centers and Tamil
- Providing vocational training for skill development and self-income generation.
- Cultivation and production of herbal and agricultural products.
- Accepting donations, grants, and contributions for achieving the foundation's goals.
- Acquiring movable or immovable properties for the foundation's objectives.
- Conducting agricultural and environmental awareness programs.
- Conserving and documenting herbal plants and promoting herbal medicine education.
- Offering education programs in agriculture, environment, and bioresources.
- Encouraging entrepreneurship through agri and biotech certifications.
- Developing community-level centers and institutions.
Board of Trustees:
- The board consists of seven trustees, including the founder.
- The founder, Mr. K. Gnanaprakasam, retains lifetime authority to appoint or replace trustees.
Management:
The Board of Trustees holds the authority to manage finances, properties, and operations in alignment with the foundation's objectives.
Meetings:
- The board convenes annually and as needed, presided over by the founder.
- Decisions are made by majority vote, with the founder having a casting vote in case of ties.
Accounts & Audit:
The foundation maintains audited accounts and ensures compliance with relevant sections of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
Dissolution Clause:
In case of dissolution, any remaining assets will be transferred to a similar charitable organization.
Declaration:
- The foundation is open to all, regardless of caste, religion, or gender.
- All income and funds will solely be used for the foundation's objectives.
- The foundation operates as a non-profit and charitable entity.
